Each individual piece of the item sets also have their own hidden set bonuses depending on how many pieces you have. Item Set BonusĪs mentioned, each item set has set bonuses that show up when more than one item is worn. To optimise the use of Item Sets, wear the best pieces, or selectively combine two or more items from the same set to benefit from the partial set bonuses and hidden item bonuses. While some individual set items are tremendously powerful, most are not much better than good magical or rare items. View all Diablo 2 Resurrected Item Setsĭiablo 2 Item Sets have green names and preset stats, and receive bonuses from other items in the set when they are worn together.(Actually when an item type drops it has a 90% chance of being magical, 10% chance for rare, a 0.1% chance of being a set item, and a 0.05% chance of being unique. But please note, a “good” drop rate on set items still only gives somewhere around a 0.5% drop chance so it’s a process. If you have 500% MF and it takes you 5 minutes to do a Meph run, or if you have 300% MF and it takes 3 minutes to do the same run, then go with the lower MF simply because you can do more runs in less time.Įither way, having a decent amount of MF coupled with knowing where to look can substantially increase your chances of finding that drop you want. The more you have the better, however, make sure that you can still kill stuff. (I think Baal may have the best drop rate for that piece.) The amulet can be found just about anywhere on Normal (however, the best place is from Blood Raven on Normal), but other items, like the armor, are going to require repeated runs in acts 4 & 5 of Hell.
